THE PATH TO FREEDOM
The central service of Scientology deals with increasing an individual’s spiritual awareness and bringing him up to the level of full control over his environment.
This service is called “auditing,” from Latin audire, meaning to listen, because its success is dependent upon the Scientology minister’s, or “auditor’s,” ability to listen to the individual.
The auditor asks specific guiding questions that have the individual examine his existence and thereby come to conclusions that resolve the difficulties of life.
There are exact abilities an individual can gain through auditing — “ability to communicate freely with anyone on any subject”, “ability to recognize the source of problems and make them vanish” and “relief from the hostilities and sufferings of life” to name but a few. The end goal of auditing is total spiritual freedom for the individual.
This activity plays such a vital role in the Scientology religion, the entire fourth floor is devoted to its delivery.
But the first step to increased spiritual awareness is the Purification Rundown, located on the sixth floor.
Here you address the spiritual effects of the accumulation of drugs and toxins in your body.
This is done through a precise daily regimen of nutrition, exercise and sauna, resulting in new levels of mental alertness, and opening the door to spiritual gain.
