Anyone thinking of starting a business of his or her own could be disheartened by the statistics: according to the US Department of Trade and Industry, as of two years ago, nearly 50% of small businesses in America fail within their first three years in operation.

These statistics point to a signifcant lack of administrative know-how in the business community.

Those in attendence at the North American Consultant Conference of the World Institute of Scientology Enterprises (WISE) this month are rather familiar with the problem. And at the conference they learned of a new service to WISE members that will help them overcome these odds.

WISE is a fellowship of business professionals who study and use the organizational and management technology developed by L. Ron Hubbard. WISE grants licenses to Hubbard Management Consultants who provide seminars, workshops, training courses and direct one-on-one assistance to individuals and organizations.

Those attending the North American Consultants Conference were briefed on the newest feature available to WISE members — the WISE Policy Mailing Booklets.

Each month, WISE members will receive a WISE Policy Mailing Booklet.  Each will be bound volumes containing one of L. Ron Hubbard’s landmark articles on administration and management, and a complete glossary of terms.

These will be providing WISE members with invaluable technology covering areas such as conflict resolution, public relations, marketing, finance and human resources.
